This helmet is made from 16-gauge mild steel, with a cotton canvas lining and wool felt filling. The cap is rounded, with riveted strips, a pointed face guard with eye holes, and an attached chainmail aventail. A leather strap secured at the chin will help keep it in place.
The sizing is approximate, with a 12” front height, 6” back height, and an inner circumference of 26” and inner width of about 8.5”.
 
To keep it looking nice, clean it with a metal polish and occasionally oil.
